Ultrasound Film Awards
After several successful years in Denmark, the Ultrasound Film Awards go international at ICEM 2026, and we want your department on the list!
Expect a red carpet and gala dresses, a ICEMs 360° stage, with a statuette for each category winner. Nominated clips in Abdomen, Cardiac, and Lung will be screened for the full congress before winners are announced on stage, so even a nomination puts your work in front of emergency physicians from around the world.

Clips must be anonymised, with patient consent for educational use.
Video format
Clips may be:
- Exported directly from the ultrasound machine, or
- Recorded from the screen using, for example, a smartphone.
Case description
Each submission must include a short case description. For example:“Female in her 60s presenting with intermittent right upper quadrant pain” — accompanied by a video clip showing gallstones in the gallbladder.
Consent & anonymisation
It is the responsibility of the submitting clinician to ensure that:
- The video contains no patient-identifiable information (e.g. ID numbers, names, dates of birth).
- Informed consent has been obtained from the patient for educational use of the material.
- Consent may be written or verbal, depending on applicable local requirements. The organising committee does not verify the consent process via written documentation.
