ICEM is the leading global forum for sharing the latest research, best practices, and innovative ideas in Emergency Medicine. We welcome high-quality submissions from clinicians, researchers, educators, trainees, and students from around the world on all aspects of emergency and acute care – from basic research to innovative clinical approaches, systems development, education, and global health.

Why submit?

  • Share your work with a global audience of emergency medicine professionals.
  • Network with colleagues from all over the world
  • All accepted abstracts will be published in a citable format.

Submission categories include:

  • Original research
  • Case reports
  • Image (of an interesting clinical sign) in Emergency Medicine

We strongly encourage submissions from regions where Emergency Medicine is still developing.
We look forward to your contributions – and to celebrating the diversity, energy, and innovation of global Emergency Medicine together at ICEM 2026 in Hamburg.

Join us in shaping the future of Emergency Medicine!

  • By submitting an abstract, you confirm that the content is free from plagiarism and acknowledge that the abstract may be screened using plagiarism detection software if required.
  • Copyright, if this abstract is accepted, will be held by the author.
